Out West Safaris owns and leases several large ranches for trophy big game hunting and excellent fishing. We hunt over 250 square miles (160,000 acres) of deeded land. A total of over 550 square miles (350,000 acres) of deeded and limited or non accessible public land. The size of the ranches and limited hunting pressure creates some of the best hunting experiences you'll find anywhere.
We have been Outfitting for 40 + years and hunting in the area for 3 generations. Our guides have well over 220 years combined experience, and have been hunting these areas all their lives.
Guided hunts are offered by avid experienced sportsmen that know the area and the habits of big game animals. Out West is committed to providing the visiting outdoor enthusiast the best possible value for his/her dollar, while at the same time promoting a sensible and balanced policy of management and conservation. We comply with all laws, rules and regulations of the Wyoming Game and Fish commission, Wyoming State Board of Outfitters and Professional Guides, Bureau of land management, USDA Forest Service, and adhere to the code of ethics of the Wyoming Outfitters Assoc., N.R.A and S.C.I. All hunts are conducted by the rules of fair chase using 4-wheel drive vehicles and walking.
Wyoming is a land of wide-open spaces, breathtaking views, and has an abundance and diversity of wildlife found no where else. Our Ranches are the ideal base of exploration for the many exciting natural treasures in Southern Wyoming. Remote enough to be a welcome break from urban life, but close enough to enjoy any weekend, make our pristine properties a family tradition.
